I’m constantly taking photos. It’s one of the few creative outlets I have that’s not influenced by client or committee. It’s also very personal, to see the world from someone else’s perspective — where they’ve been, what windows they peer out of, who they’re with, what their interests are.
I really love getting packages in the mail, and unwrapping gifts, and photography is sort of like that, in the sense that after a day of shooting, you come home with a memory card full of images, and there’s this anticipation, this hope, that maybe you’ve captured something beautiful.
I’ve annoyed everyone who’s ever known me with my constant camera pointed at them and I hope to continue doing so for many more years to come.
